China Guangdong Nuclear Power's Shandong 20.4MW wind power project put into operation

A press release issued by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group on September 3 showed that the 20.4 MW wind farm project in Shandong Tangwangshan was completed and put into operation on September 1. This is also the 10th wind farm completed by the group.

Tangshanshan Wind Farm was approved by the Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission on March 18, 2009. It was formally started construction on November 1, 2009. By February 5, 2010, all 24 850-kilowatt wind turbines were hoisted.

At present, all wind turbines have passed 240 hours of trial operation assessment. It is estimated that the annual on-grid electricity will reach 38,068,700 kilowatt-hours, and annual savings of 13,900 tons of standard coal and 29,300 tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be saved.
