Hitachi plans to recruit 650 graduates in fiscal 2013

According to the Japan News Service, Hitachi Ltd. said that it plans to recruit 650 graduates in fiscal 2013, which is 27.8% lower than the number of graduates recruited in the current fiscal year.

Among the 650 graduates recruited by Hitachi in fiscal 2013, there are 600 universities and college graduates, and 50 high school graduates.

Hitachi expects new employees to join to help accelerate the globalization of its business, especially in areas such as social infrastructure and information technology.

In addition, Hitachi said it will recruit 150 employees with work experience during the fiscal year (as of March 2013).
