In addition to the natural air-drying, the current drying fruits and vegetables in Xinjiang market use hot air drying room. From February 2014, the autonomous region began to promote apricot hot air drying room from southern Xinjiang. At present, the drying room has been opened from the southern Xinjiang to the northern Xinjiang and eastern Xinjiang. It has baked 4,696.22 tons of various fruits and vegetables, except for apricots.
