<1> Applicable conditions

(8) The goaf needs support. ;

(9) The ore may be stable and relatively solid;

(10) For extremely valuable ores, it is appropriate to use the elimination filling method;


<2> Main advantages:

(1) The ore depletion rate is low;

(2) When the material of the mat is properly selected and the laying is tight, the ore loss rate is small.

(3) The transportation and processing costs of the waste rock obtained by the mining can be utilized to improve the recovery rate of the useful components.

(4) Due to the high grade of ore, the ore required for one ton of concentrate is less, so the capital investment in beneficiation is also less.


<3> Main disadvantages:

(1) The work organization is complex;

(2) low labor productivity;

(3) The amount of rock drilling work is large, and the consumption of explosives is large;

(4) to lay a tight cushion;

(5) The unit ore costs are high.

For the wall-filling mining method, some mines have been tested in the past, and the effect of the wall-filling method is not good. In fact, this is not the case of the wall-cutting method, but the work of the mining process. For example, the diameter of the drill used is too large, the cushion layer is not tightly laid, the cushion material is improperly selected, the structure of the ore retainer is unreasonable, and the geological conditions of the mining area selected by some mines are not satisfactory.
