When steel is cut, oxygen is used as the auxiliary vapor and the molten metal to generate an exothermic chemical reaction oxidizing material, while blowing the slag in the slit. Polypropylene-based plastics use compressed air, and flammable materials such as cotton and paper are cut using inert gas. The auxiliary vapor entering the nozzle also cools the focusing lens, preventing smoke and the like from entering the lens holder, contaminating the lens and causing the lens to overheat.


For most electromechanical manufacturing industries, modern laser cutting systems are often preferred over die cutting and molding processes because they can easily cut workpieces of different shapes and sizes; although laser cutting machines are slower than die cutting However, it has no mold consumption, no need to repair the mold, and can save the time for changing the mold, thereby saving the processing cost of the enterprise and reducing the production cost of the enterprise, so it is more cost-effective in general.
