Cummins launches fourth-generation handheld computer engine tester

Cummins has launched the fourth generation of handheld computer engine testing – QuickCheck 5100. This product uses the most popular Microsoft Windows CE operating system on the current handheld computer. By connecting with the electronic control module (ECM) on the engine, it can detect all electronically controlled diesel engines on the market that comply with the SAE J1939 or J1587 data interface protocol. Limited to Cummins products.
Cummins QuickCheck 5100 can quickly display key information such as engine fault code, operating parameters, accumulated running time and engine nameplate data, so that users can maintain the electronically controlled engine in time.
Cummins has been a leader in diesel PDA detection equipment technology. In 2000, Cummins led the industry to introduce the first generation of electronically controlled diesel PDA monitors based on the Palm operating system. The newly launched fourth-generation QuickCheck 5100 has a more user-friendly interface and more powerful built-in software. In addition to the QuickCheck CE engine operating parameter detection software, the PowerSpec CE engine power adjustment software is pre-installed. Users can do it on a PC. The good engine power adjustment matching parameter setting is easily imported into the engine electronic control module through the handheld detector, which is very simple and quick.
