DC protection testing instrument to fill the gap

A few days ago, China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. passed the acceptance test for the development of a DC protection test instrument. Experts at the meeting believed that the results of the project were innovative and filled the gaps in the country. They have been successfully applied in the field and have reached the international advanced level.

The project successfully resolved the DC control protection optical fiber transmission protocol and mastered the key technologies of optical fiber measurement in the DC control protection system. The project developed a new type of DC protection testing instrument based on Siemens SIMADYND DC control protection platform, which achieved field functional testing of DC control protection and greatly improved the level of DC control protection inspection and maintenance. In addition, the project has compiled a practical DC protection check form applied to the site and has obtained one national utility model patent.
