Development of Automatic Calibration System for SOA Power Quality Analyzer

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision convened the AQSIQ Scientific and Technological Plan Project "Automatic Calibration System for SOA-Based Power Quality Analyzer (Project Number: 2013QK258)". The expert group believed that the project met the acceptance requirements and agreed to pass the acceptance.

The power quality analyzer is a measuring instrument for monitoring and recording the power supply quality of the power grid, and is widely used in fields such as power production, power distribution, and power consumption. The parameters measured by the power quality analyzer include frequency deviation, voltage deviation, electromagnetic transient, harmonics, three-phase unbalance, voltage fluctuation, flicker, and so on. The accuracy of the measurement data of the power quality analyzer affects the quality of the power grid.

However, in recent years, more and more calibration requirements for power quality analyzers have been made. The measurement parameters are many, and manual calibration takes too long, often failing to meet the customer's calibration time requirements, and it is also likely to cause misoperation. Therefore, the realization of remote automatic calibration not only solves the problem that three-phase voltage, current, power, harmonics, flicker and other parameters can not be set at the same time, and can shorten the calibration time and reduce misoperation. After preliminary investigations and scientific investigations, the vast majority of scientific research projects using domestic auto-calibration technology to calibrate power quality analyzers have not achieved remote calibration.

The SOA-based power quality analyzer auto-calibration system developed this time is the first time that a power quality analyzer auto-calibration system has been developed using service-oriented architecture (SOA) technology, with independent intellectual property rights, flexible expansion, and convenient customization. Easily applied to the calibration of other types of power quality analyzers, the automatic calibration time is shortened to 1/5 of the manual calibration time, greatly improving the calibration efficiency; the project has obtained 1 utility model patent, 1 computer software copyright, published thesis 3, applied for 1 invention patent; the software structure of the project achievements is innovative and is at the leading level in the country.
