Ministry of Transport: Strongly promote long-distance bus “night break”

Yesterday, Minister of Communications Yang Chuantang requested at the National Telecommunication Safety and Teleconference Conference to implement the system of half-way breaks for long-distance passenger cars and to stop the operation from 2 to 5 o'clock in the morning for vehicles that cannot adjust their shift times or operate longer mileage.

According to Yang Chuantang, who died in a passenger vehicle accident in August in the previous August, there were 77 road passenger car accidents that killed more than three people and 471 people died in the country from January to August this year. The number of serious accidents and deaths increased by 22.2% and 29.6% over the same period of last year; the number of deaths and deaths in water transport accidents increased by 55. The number of serious accidents, whether they occur, or the casualties and property losses caused by them, have been increasing. Overall, transportation is still in a special period where safety accidents are prone to occur.

Cross-Provincial Passenger Lines Clearing Hidden Troops by Vehicles Yang Chuantang requested that all trans-provincial and long-distance passenger lines of more than 800 kilometers be cleared away on a line-by-line basis.

Yang Chuantang requested that the long-distance passenger bus rest system should be strictly implemented, and the passenger transport enterprises should be supervised to make reasonable arrangements for flights. Those who cannot arrive before 2 a.m. should adjust the schedule of the flight; and those who cannot adjust the shift time or have a longer operating mileage should strongly implement 2 a.m. Stop the operation until 5 o'clock, or place a rest and connect the transport.

In addition, if safety assessments are carried out on new growth passenger lines and fail to meet safety requirements, they will not be approved.

BPS and BPF have been detected in many everyday products, such as personal care products (e.g., body wash, hair care products, makeup, lotions, toothpaste), paper products (e.g., currency, flyers, tickets, mailing envelopes, airplane boarding passes), and food (e.g., dairy products, meat and meat products, vegetables, canned foods, cereals). BPS, BPF, and BPA have been detected in indoor dust at the following concentrations: BPS, 0.34 μg/g; BPF, 0.054 μg/g; BPA, 1.33 μg/g . BPS and BPF have also been detected in surface water, sediment, and sewage effluent, generally at lower concentrations than BPA, but in the same order of magnitude . In humans, BPS and BPF have been detected in urine at concentrations and frequencies comparable to BPA. In urine samples from 100 American, nonoccupationally exposed adults, found BPF in 55% of samples at concentrations up to 212 ng/mL, and BPS in 78% of samples at concentrations up to 12.3 ng/mL. BPA was found in 95% of the samples, with concentrations up to 37.7 ng/mL.
