Taiwan's screw nut output value is expected to have 90 billion

According to statistics, from January to September this year, the top five countries in Taiwan exporting screw nuts, the United States accounted for 34.7% of the country's first place, followed by Germany 9.6%, the Netherlands, Japan and the United Kingdom accounted for 5% each, China's mainland accounted for 3.0% of the total, ranking No. 7. Europe and the United States have strong demand, and the upstream steel prices are stable, and screw fasteners such as screw nuts are provided smoothly.

The Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan released statistics on November 5. The output value of the screw and nut can be expected to stand at 90 billion yuan this year, which is a new high since 2012, but it has not broken through the historical high point of 2011's 95.3 billion yuan.

In 2011, the output of Taiwan's screw nuts was 1.376 million metric tons and the output value was 95.3 billion yuan. Both climbed to the highest peak in history and fell for two consecutive years. The production values ​​in 2012 and 2013 were respectively 85.6 billion yuan and 85.1 billion yuan, but the output value still exceeded 850. 100 million yuan.

Looking back at the export market conditions in recent years, due to the turnaround effect of high anti-dumping duties imposed on the EU in China in 2010 and 2011, the demand for downstream machinery and autos was booming. The annual growth rate of exports was as high as 59.1% and 24.2 respectively. In 2012, the debt crisis in Europe severely hit the European market, resulting in a 5.8% year-on-year decline in exports. In 2013, the European economy was recovering. The US economy continued to recover, and exports rose slightly by 2.6% from the previous year.

Since the beginning of this year, as the global economy has gradually stabilized and the recovery of downstream industries has been clearly promoted, the cumulative total of US$3.012 billion in exports from January to September has increased by 10.8% year-on-year.
