Buying pumps that are trustworthy and reliable by these users is a wise choice. At the same time, single-phase or three-phase pumps should be used based on local power conditions.

First, choose a standardized water pump

(I) What is the standardized water pump The standardized water pump is the latest type of water pump formulated and implemented by the country according to the requirements of ISO. Its main features are small size, light weight, excellent performance, easy operation, long life, low energy consumption. It represents the current trend of the current pump industry.

(b) How to choose a pump When a user selects a pump, it is best to go to the point of sale recognized by the agricultural machinery department. It is important to recognize the manufacturer. It is recommended to give priority to the purchase of water-filled submersible pumps and see the grades and pump quality certificates. Do not purchase "three nos" (ie no manufacturer, no production date, no production permit) pumps, otherwise there will be problems, users will be helpless.

In the non-use period, the water pump should be lifted off the water source in time, and the water in the pump should be drained, especially in the cold winter. Then place it in a dry place. Conditional users can also apply grease to the key parts of the pump and add lubricant to the bearings to prevent corrosion of the parts. In addition, the non-use period of the pump is not as long as possible. If you do not use it for a long time, it will not only easily rust parts, but also reduce the service life of the pump.

Second, choose to meet the pump requirements of the lift

(I) Selection of the lift of the pump The so-called head is the required head, not the height of the lift. It is particularly important to select the pump. The pump lift is about 1.15 to 1.20 times the lift height. If the vertical height of a water source to the water office is 20 meters, the required lift is about 23 to 24 meters. When selecting the pump, the head on the pump nameplate should be close to the desired head. In this case, the pump has the highest efficiency and can be used more economically. However, it is not absolutely required to be absolutely equal. As long as the general deviation does not exceed 20%, the pump can work under more energy-saving conditions.

(II) How Much of the Nameplate Head is Better The choice of a pump with a head lift that is far less than the required lift will often fail to satisfy the user's wishes. Even if it is able to pump water, the water volume will be pitifully low and may even turn into a Unused "idle pump." Is the higher the pump lift, the better? actually not. If the high lift pump is used for low lift, excessive flow will occur and the motor will be overloaded. If the motor is running for a long time, the temperature of the motor will increase, and the winding insulation will gradually deteriorate and even burn the motor.

Third, select the appropriate flow of the pump

The flow rate of the water pump, that is, the amount of water discharged, should generally not be selected too large; otherwise, the cost of purchasing the water pump will increase. Specific analysis should be specific issues, such as self-priming water pump used by the user's own draught, the flow should be selected as small as possible; if the user is using a submersible pump for irrigation, the flow rate can be appropriately selected.

Fourth, several issues that should be noted during use

Correct use of the method is an important factor in prolonging the life of the pump and reducing the economic loss.

(1) Before starting the submersible pump, some necessary inspections shall be done: whether the rotation of the pump shaft is normal, whether there is a stuck phenomenon; whether the position of the impeller is normal; whether the cable line and the cable plug have cracks, scratches, and breaks, etc. . Pay attention to observe the change of voltage during operation, generally control within ± 5% of rated voltage. In addition, the location of the pump in the water is very important. It should be possible to choose a place where there is plenty of water, no silt, and good water quality. It should be suspended vertically in the water. It must not be placed horizontally so as to avoid being trapped in the mud or blocked by the suspended material. Lead to a sharp drop in the amount of water or even no access to water.

(b) The self-priming pump should be placed in a well-ventilated place as much as possible to facilitate rapid heat dissipation and reduce motor temperature. Otherwise, long-term operation can easily burn the motor. For example, when a farmer uses a self-priming pump, it does not remove the plastic film covering the motor, causing the motor to overheat and burn out the coil. In addition, before starting, be sure to check the amount of water in the pump body, otherwise, not only affect the self-priming performance, but also easy to burn the shaft seal components. Under normal conditions, the water should be discharged within 3 to 5 minutes after the pump is started. Otherwise, it should be stopped immediately.

(C) Pump Maintenance When the pump fails, it should not be disassembled by yourself. Because of their own demolition, first, they do not know where the fault caused blindly dismantling a pass; Second, there is no special tools and often damage the original spare parts. The best way is to go to an experienced and large-scale maintenance point repair and replace “overage” parts and certain wearing parts in time. Under normal circumstances, the pump should be repaired every six months to eliminate "disease" work.

(IV) Selection and use of small-sized water pumps during non-use period and issues for attention In recent years, the social possession of agricultural pumps in China has increased significantly, especially small-scale agricultural water pumps represented by submersible pumps, self-priming pumps, etc., due to low prices. , Easy to operate and other advantages favored by the majority of users. However, due to the large number of small water pump manufacturers, the strength of the water pump technology is uneven, resulting in poor quality of the water pump. Coupled with factors such as operation and improper use, many users have created new annoyances, and even suffered a lot of economic losses. According to statistics, half of the annual production volume of agricultural pumps in China is used to replace waste water pumps. Therefore, how to choose a durable, satisfactory pump and how to extend the life of the pump has become a concern of the majority of users.
