Dana's 2011 Net Profit Soars to 220 Million U.S. Dollars

Dana Corporation of the United States recently released financial reports for the fourth quarter of 2011 and the full year of 2011. The report shows that its net profit for the year 2011 soared to 219 million U.S. dollars year-on-year, and its 2010 net profit was 11 million U.S. dollars.

For the full year of 2011, Dana’s net sales were US$7.592 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24.3%, and sales in 2010 were US$6.109 billion. The cash flow generated in 2011 was 174 million U.S. dollars.

In 2011, Dana’s adjusted EBITDA was US$765 million, a year-on-year increase of 38%, accounting for 10.1% of sales.

In the fourth quarter of 2011, Dana’s sales were US$1.9 billion, and the adjusted EBITDA was US$183 million.

For 2012, Dana expects sales to increase by at least 5%; adjusted EBITDA will be $845 million to $865 million, or 10.5% to 11% of sales.
