According to the National Development and Reform Commission's website on March 21st, the latest data released by the National Development and Reform Commission show that in January-February, the added value of the chemical industry increased by 15.4% year-on-year, an increase of 11.9 percentage points year-on-year. Among the major products, the output of caustic soda was 3.54 million tons, an increase of 17.9%, which was 9.7 percentage points lower. Soda ash production was 3.45 million tons, an increase of 0.9%, slowing down 27.6 percentage points. Fertilizer output was 9.5 million tons, an increase of 6%, slowing 13.6 percentage points. Among them, nitrogen fertilizer output decreased by 0.5%, and phosphate fertilizer and potash fertilizer output increased by 23.4% and 98.6% respectively. The output of pesticides was 390,000 tons, an increase of 19.3%, 11.8 percentage points slower. The output of tires made of rubber tires was 102.54 million, an increase of 4.4%, a decrease of 35.9 percentage points. The output of calcium carbide was 2.63 million tons, an increase of 6.5%, slowing 43.3%. Of the chemical products monitored in key areas, the prices of calcium carbide, soda ash, and yellow phosphorus fell back from last December, and prices of other products rose slightly. In February, the average price of caustic soda (caproline) was 2,590 yuan per ton, up 3.6% from last December, up 9.7% year-on-year, and soda 2,100 yuan per ton, down 6.7% from last December and up 47.9% year-on-year. Urea was 2020 yuan/ton, which was 3.1% higher than last December, and up 11.6% year-on-year; domestic phosphoric acid diamine 3420 yuan/ton, up 3.6% from last December, up 23.9% year-on-year; calcium carbide 3700 yuan/ton, compared with last year 12 The monthly decline was 16.9%, up 14.9% year-on-year.
