· Four ministries and commissions regulate light vehicle emission standards

According to the relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the AQSIQ four ministries will issue an announcement on the implementation of the national five emission standards for light-duty vehicles, and monitor the nitrogen oxides (NOx) of the on-board diagnostic system (OBD system). The actual monitoring frequency (IUPR) is required.
The announcement stipulates that from January 1, 2015, the application for the national five new models that do not meet the requirements for the five-stage emission standard for light vehicles will be discontinued; from January 1, 2015, the region of the light vehicle will be implemented ahead of schedule, sales and Registered domestic and imported light vehicles must meet the requirements for the NOx monitoring and IUPR of the OBD system in the fifth phase of the light vehicle emission standards; import, manufacture, sale and registration nationwide from January 1, 2018 Light-duty vehicles must meet the requirements for the NOx monitoring and IUPR of the OBD system in the fifth-stage emission standard of the light-duty vehicle, and at the same time cancel the relevant national five-vehicle announcements and compulsory certifications that do not meet the standard requirements.
