1). Integral cutting wheel thickness is thin (more than 0.5mm), small outside diameter (20-100mm), fine grain size, high precision in size and shape, light weight, generally used in high speed conditions. The general speed is 5000-40000 rpm.
2). The matrix type cutting wheels are mostly thick (0.5-2mm), large in diameter (100-200mm), coarse in granularity, and low in precision. They are generally used under conditions of low speed and large depth of cut. The general speed is 3000-10000 rpm.
3). Ultra-thin cutting wheels use more fine-grained materials, and the thinner the thickness is, the thinner the abrasive grain size will be, and the quality of the machined surface is better. However, the finer the abrasive grain size, the lower the cutting sharpness, and the correspondingly reduced feed rate to accommodate the abrasive grain size machinability.
4). The cutting depth of the ultra-thin cutting wheel is generally determined by the user according to the cutting part. The cutting is mostly performed by the slow-feed grinding process and the depth is cut at one time. Since the cutting wheel is thin and the cutting conditions are poor (mostly three surfaces are in contact with the workpiece), it is difficult to dissipate heat. Therefore, the cutting area must be cooled (flow rate, pressure).
5). When the cutting wheel appears on the machine at the user's point of use, there will be no cutting or broken parts, it is recommended to increase the cutting speed or reduce the feed rate; when the cutting wheel does not move or break after a period of time, it is recommended to use The granules of the right size grind the surface of the grinding wheel to adjust its sharpness.
6). The workpiece surface quality and cutting performance are mainly related to the ultra-thin cutting wheel abrasive grain size. The finer the grain size is, the better the surface finish is. At the same time with the workpiece material, hardness, cutting amount, machine conditions, processing requirements and other factors also have a relationship.
7) The ultra-thin cutting wheel has generally been shaped and sharpened before leaving the factory, and the user can use it directly. If the user needs further reshaping, it is recommended to use green silicon carbide or white corundum stone, particle size than the cutting wheel coarse grain size 1-2 number; if the user needs to further edge or use a section after the edge, it is recommended to use green silicon carbide or white corundum Whetstone, particle size than the cutting wheel size 1-2 fine or the same number can be.
8) The amount of cutting is generally related to the material being processed, hardness, precision, processing requirements, etc. It is recommended that it should be used under the original user's conditions when it is used for the first time. Do not change the cutting amount easily.
9) User conditions are also the main factors affecting the cutting performance. In particular, the spindle axial runout, radial runout, flange parallelism, and dynamic balance accuracy all directly affect the cutting accuracy of the cutting wheel.
Use cautions:
1. Please check carefully before installing the cutting wheel to confirm whether the cutting wheel is deformed, cracked or broken.
2. When the flange is too small or the accuracy is poor, it is easy to damage the cutting wheel. Please use it after improvement.
3. When the cutting wheel is marked with the direction of rotation, it must be consistent with the direction of rotation of the machine. On the contrary, the cutting is not sharp and it is difficult to exert the performance of the cutting wheel.
4. If you use a cutting wheel that does not match the workpiece you are cutting, it is prone to abnormal wear, poor sharpness, and abnormal heat.
5. If any abnormality is found during cutting, stop immediately.
6. When the cutting is not sharp, it is necessary to trim the grinding wheel. If you continue to use it, it will cause overheating and overload to break the grinding wheel.
7. In the rotation of the grinding wheel, it is forbidden to cut by hand, and it is not allowed to touch the grinding wheel by hand and body.
8. It is strictly prohibited to use the cutting wheel for operations other than grooving or cutting, so as to avoid abnormalities due to uneven force.
