Nantong COSCO Heavy Industry won the internal coordination contract for the cover of 62,000 tons of multi-purpose pulp ship

On December 21, 2017, Dalian COSCO Shipyard and Nantong COSCO Heavy Industries' 62,000-ton multi-purpose pulp ship hatch internal coordination contract was signed in Dalian.

It is reported that the 62,000-ton multi-purpose pulp ship is a new multi-purpose pulp ship built by COSCO Shipyard for COSCO Shipping. It has a total length of 201.8 meters and a width of 32.26 meters. It has 8 hatch covers and the length and width of the largest hatch cover. Both are more than 27 meters, weigh more than 210 tons, and 8 total weight exceeds 1,000 tons.

According to COSCO Shipbuilding's work requirements to further strengthen system coordination and strive for a win-win situation, Dalian COSCO Shipyard decided to put a total of 24 multi-purpose pulp boats and a hatch cover with a total steel structure of more than 3,000 tons in Nantong Zhongyuan Heavy Industry.
