It is understood that China's new vehicle exhaust gas purification technology and its products were completed by Harbin University of Science and Technology in the form of “production- learning partnership†for many years. The technical principle is that with the help of related equipment and rare earth catalytic materials, the active catalytic gas is generated after the engine is heated, and the vacuum suction (negative pressure) is drawn into the cylinder to promote complete combustion, enhance the gas calorific value, and reduce exhaust pollution. The result of follow-up inspection of this technical equipment at the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of South China University of Technology proves that this product can reduce automobile exhaust emissions by 60%-90% after trials in various types of vehicles.
After successfully applying for a national invention patent, this technology and equipment has been mass-produced in Guangzhou Zhaolong Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. since last year, and served as a major guarantee for the Guangzhou “Green Asian Games†in that year, and was put into Guangzhou taxis and buses in batches. The purification of automobile exhaust gas has attracted the attention of the industry at home and abroad.
The Thailand Consulate in Guangzhou discovered the effect after trying the product and recommended it to the Thai Ministry of Commerce. The Thai Ministry of Commerce dispatched personnel to conduct inspections and demonstrations and stated that their products were included in the national purchase sequence. According to the bilateral trade agreement between Thailand's Ministry of Commerce's Foreign Projects Cooperation Center and Guangzhou Zhaolong Environmental Protection Co., Ltd., Thailand purchased the vehicle exhaust gas purification device for taxis and buses in large and medium-sized cities such as Bangkok to solve the growing car shortage in Thai cities. With regard to tail gas pollution, the total trade amount will exceed 150 million U.S. dollars.
The agreement also said that because Thailand's motorcycle exhaust pollution is also very serious, China will also set up an R&D center in Thailand to jointly develop motorcycle exhaust gas purification devices.
