Gaoqiao Petrochemical successfully invests in a new type of hydrogen production furnace

Hydrogenation is a technically demanding process in oil refining. The application of cold-walled gas gathering pipes to hydrogen production furnaces is even more difficult. The domestic independent research and development project of Sinopec Group Company, a new technology for cold-wall gas-gathering hydrogen furnaces, was recently applied to No. 1 and No. 2 hydrogen production plants at Gaoqiao Petrochemical, and was reviewed by Sinopec experts.

The project began research and technical preparation in 2000, and carried out the design of a new type of cold-walled gas-pipe reforming furnace. The total cold wall gas collector has small thermal expansion and saves a large amount of high-alloy steel. It saves about 43% of the one-time investment cost compared to the original hot and cold wall mixed structure. It also saves operating costs due to the reduced pressure drop; cold-walled gas collector bottom The structure is simple and compact, which facilitates the large-scale production of hydrogen conversion furnaces; due to the lower furnace bottom temperature, the operational safety is greatly improved.

Hydrocarbon steam reforming hydrogen production furnace is the core equipment of hydrogen production equipment. The working temperature of the lower tail pipe and the lower air collecting pipe part is up to 900 degrees Celsius and must be made of high alloy steel. The high furnace bottom temperature makes it difficult for the operator to approach the visual inspection. At present, some industrialized countries have adopted the technique of full cold wall collector.

In order to master this technology to adapt to large-scale and demanding operating conditions, Sinopec Corp. has commissioned Sinopec Engineering Construction Company, Gaoqiao Petrochemical and other companies to develop the “Research and Development of a New Type of Cold-walled Gas-Tube Reformer” project. The blank of this technology in China has improved the technical level of the hydrogen conversion furnace.

3. The function of the measuring circuit is to convert the electrical parameters input by the conversion element into measurable quantities such as voltage, current or frequency for display, recording, control and processing.
